Ochazuke is a traditional light meal in Japan. It’s a little like rice soup. It is similar to porridge but we do not cook rice so long as it. Simply but perfect for enjoying the ingredients' flavour.

Defrost before cooking: Takowasabi
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Heating time: 5 minutes
azumatei Products: Takowasabi
2 serves 
Ingredients:
  • Takowasabi 10g
  • Green tea x2 tea bags 
  • Rice  for 2 serves 
  • Dried seaweed/ Nori for garnish
  • Leek for garnish
  • Dashi Tbsp 1
  • Water 400ml 
  • Salt to taste 
 
Cooking instruction:
  • 1. Boil water and make tea. Add Dashi and mix well.
  • Once the water observes the tea flavour and colour, remove the tea bags from the boiled water.
    2. Prepare the rice on the plate, put our Tako wasabi on the top and pour the boiled water (2) on the top.
    3. Garnish with leeks and Nori.
